Blue Exorcist: Shimane Illuminati Saga Anime Secure Sequel for October.

The flood of Anime news is just unstoppable from the event of AnimeJapan 2024. The event revealed Blue Exorcist: Shimane Illuminati Saga will receive a sequel in the upcoming month of October. The Event revealed the title of the upcoming season “Blue Exorcist: At the End of the Snow Chapter” and also released a promo video for the TV Anime.

Blue Exorcist: Shimane Illuminati Saga follows the life of Rin Okumura and his younger brother Yukio Okumura raised by Father Shiro Fujimoto. But Rin always questions himself about his real father. Inspired by Father Fujimoto, Rin dreamed of being an exorcist like the father but soon he finds out that he is the son of Satan. Thus begins Rin’s Journey to wipe out Satan as an Exorcist.

The anime aired in Japan from January 7, 2024, to March 24 on Tokyo MX and its other networks. Crunchyroll broadcasted the anime also in the English Dub.

Adapted from the original work of Kazue Kato’s manga, Daisuke Yoshida (Idol Incidents) directed the anime at Studio VOLN. Toshiya Ono (The Promised Neverland) was the scriptwriter for the anime. Yurie Oohigashi (Buddy Daddies) was the character designer and also the chief animation director. Kohta Yamamoto and Hiroyuki Sawano composed the music.

Blue Exorcist Manga was launched in Jump SQ in 2009. Later in 2021, the Manga moved into Hiatus in July and Viz Media acquired the license for the English Publication.

Blue Exorcist’s first-ever season was also composed of 25 episodes premiered in 2011 and Blue Exorcist movie released in December 2012. The Kyoto Saga aired in 2017.

The Manga received an immense amount of love from its fans circulating more than 25 million copies.
