Call of the Night 2nd season announced, Teaser Video Released.

Another day of the week and here is some great Anime news. Kotoyama’s Call of the Night 2nd season was announced on Monday at the recent event Fuji TV Anime Line Up Press Conference 2024 event. Fuji TV’s Noitamina programming block will air the second season of the Anime.

The Manga started serialization in Shogakukan’s Shonen Manga Weekly Magazine in August 2019 and concluded recently in January 2024. Viz Media licensed the rights for English Publication in North America.

The story follows the life of Kou Yamori, a high school student, prone to insomniac roams outside at night one night he encounters Nazuna Nanakusa who genuinely offers to help him sleep but the events take turns and she reveals herself as a Vampire. Kou wants to leave behind his mortal life but there is a challenge he must fall in love with Nazuna.

The first season of Call of the Night aired from July 8 to September 30, 2022. The first TV Anime series was produced by Liden Films.

Tomoyuki Itamura(Monogatari Serie) directed the first season while Tetsuya Miyanishi (My Hero Academia) was the chief Director. Michiko Yokote (Rurouni Kenshin) overlooked the script and Haruka Sagawa (Happy-Go-Lucky Days) was the character designer. Yoshiaki Dewa composed the music for the first season.

Creepy Nuts performed the opening theme song “Daten” and the ending theme song “Yofukashi no Uta”. Sentai Filmworks has licensed the first season in North America, Europe, Oceania, and Asian territories.
The Manga also won the 68th Shogakukan Manga Award for the Shonen category in 2023.

Call of the night 2nd season is yet to release a confirmed date.
