Chainsaw Man Creator’s One Shot Manga Look Back clenches Anime Adaptation.

The Movie hit the theatres of Japan on June 28

Fans of Denji-kun (chainsaw Man) get ready for another blast news from your favorite creator. Tatsuki Fujimoto’s ,chainsaw Man creator’s, one-shot manga Look Back gets a theatrical release in Japan. The coming age of anime will hit the theatres in Japan On June 28. The official website released the teaser trailer along with the PV teaser in the website.

Kiyotaka Oshiyama (DevilMan Crybaby Demon designs) will direct the movie of the original work Chainsaw Man creator’s, Tatsuki Fujimoto, one shot manga Look Back. He will be also responsible for the screenplay and character designs in the Studio Durian.

The Story of the Movie portrays a coming-of-age story of a young girl named Ayumu Fujino. An elementary school girl has a knack for drawing Manga and Publishing it in the School’s paper. Another student Kyomoto shares the same passion for art with Fujino. While the rivalry grows more and more Fujino discovers some truths that will forever change her life.

The one-shot Manga of Fujimoto’s was first published in Shueisha’s Shone Jump+ in July 2021. Viz Media and Shueisha’s Manga Plus Platform Published the English version of the Manga. The Manga has received unbound love from the fans over 2.5 million reads on the first publication Date. It crossed the milestone of 4 million reads within two days of its publication.

Look Back Manga won the Takarajimasha’s Kono Manga ga Sugo! With the first place for the list of best manga for male readers.

Fujimoto first published the Chainsaw Manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in December 2018 and ended the first arc in December 2020. The Manga won several awards for its wide popularity among the fans, receiving The Harvey Awards for the last three years in a row.
