Cloverwork’s Wind Breaker Anime debuts on April 4.

Anime lovers, here I have some enthralling anime news under my sleeves. Cloverwork’s Wind Breaker anime is all set to be broadcast on April 4 on BS Nippon Television and AT-X. The official website also revealed the Main PV and the second key visual on Wednesday. The additional cast and theme song artists have been also unveiled.

Staff and Cast

The original Wind Breaker manga was written and illustrated by Satoru Nii with Toshifumi Akai (Fate/Grand Order) as the director at the CloverWorks animation studio. Hiroshi Seko (Jujutsu Kaisen) is the scriptwriter and Taishi Kawakami (Horimiya) is the character designer and chief animation director for the series. Ryo Takahashi will compose the music, “Zettai Reido” (Absolute Zero), or the opening theme song is performed by Natori while Young Kee will perform the ending theme song.

Wind Breaker Anime focuses on the life of Haruka Sakura, a delinquent who transferred to the new school Furin High School. But his eyes only recognize the strongest, not any weaklings. Infamous for the delinquents Furin High School has a group that protects people from any possible threats. Haruka doesn’t want to be a hero, he just wants his fist to land on someone.
Nii Satoru’s manga started serialization in Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket Website on January 13, 2021. Later Kodanasha USA acquired the rights for its English Publication.
The Manga Series acquired 20th rank in the 2021 Next Manga Award in the web category and The Manga has sold over 1.22 million copies in its digital and print copies.
