Fans Studio Announce Berserk: The Black Swordsman Anime Adaptation Releases Trailer. 

Howdy! Anime fans, Let’s check out some of the Anime News. Kentaro Miura’s manga Berserk: The Black Swordsman is adapting into an anime. A fan Studio named Studio Eclypse has started producing the anime and on Saturday released a Trailer for the anime. After being constantly disappointed by mainstream studios the fans took the responsibility onto their shoulders. The Anime is all set to be released in the Summer of 2025 and the first episode is in pre-production. 

Berserk: The Black Swordsman

The Berserk: The Black Swordsman trailer flooded with views on YouTube and other fans could not hold but just being amazed at such high standards of animation. One of the Berserk fans also commented “Am crying while watching this trailer, Thank you for doing us Berserk Fans justice.” 

Adapting from the manga of Kenta Miura, The studios formed a full-fledged team to handle the responsibilities. Axel Gutierrez is directing and producing the anime. Kevin Adair and Yazujiro Kurosawa are designing the characters and Yazujiro Kurosawa is the main chief animation director. The music is given by Crimson Joy with Musket Megee.

Berserk Anime

Kenta Miura’s manga started serialization in Hakusensha’s Manga Magazine Monthly Animal House in 1989. In North America, Dark Horse Comics with Digital Manga Publishing acquired the license for English publication in 2003. On that same year on Oct 22, the first volume was released. The manga instantly became a hit selling over 25 million copies and 8 million copies worldwide. By 2023, the manga rose to 60 million copies in sales including digital versions. 

Nippon Television and VAP adapted the Black Swordsman Arc and Golden Age arc into a 25-episode Anime TV Series in 1997. The Anime aired from Oct 8, 1997, to April 1, 1998. 

In 2012 The Berserk’s Golden Age Arc was adapted into a trilogy of theatrical anime films by Studio 4c. The first film premiered in Japan on Feb 4, 2012, and the second film The Battle of Doldrey released in Japan in June 2012. The Third part, The Advent released in theatres in Feb 2013.
