Howdy! Anime Lovers, let’s dig some anime news for you. Goodbye Dragon Life released its 2nd promotional video revealing the premiere of October for the Anime. The Anime is all set to premiere on TBS Channel. On Thursday, the official website for the anime revealed the first key visual, additional cast.
Staff and Cast
Adapted from the Novel by Author Hiroaki Nagashima and illustrator Kisuke Ichimaru, Kenichi Nishida ( Episode Director for ODDTAXi, Hunter x Hunter) at Synergy SP and Vega Entertainment. Naokatsu Tsuda (Fire Force, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure) is overseeing the script and Nozomi Kawashige (Animation director for Battle Game in 5 Seconds) is designing the characters. Tatsuhiko Saiki (Failure Frame) and Hanae Nakamura (The Quintessential Quintuplets) are composing the music.
The Anime features Shunsuke Takeuchi (Bungo Stray Dogs, Kaiju No.8) as Dolan and Hitomi Sekine (The IDOL Master Shiny Colors) as Celina.
The additional cast includes:
- Ayaka Ohashi (Bang Dream) as Christina
- Akame Matsunaga (Love Live Superstar) as Airi
The premise of Goodbye Dragon Life Anime follows the life of a former strongest Dragon named Dolan. Dolan has been reincarnated as a human. His new life includes haunting animals for food and working in fields too. His fruitful life changes when comes across a lamia named Celina in the swamp. Celina is seeking a mate but is very bad at seducing humans. Though both are different species their bond blossoms with time slowly.
Hiroaki Nagashima and Kisuke Ichimaru’s light novel started serialized online on the user-generated novel publishing website Shosetsuka ni Naro in January 2013.
The Manga adaptation by Kurono was serialized online via the AlphaPolis Manga website in December 2015.
