Kimi Ni Todoke Season 3 returns in August after 13 years, reveals additional staff and PV.

Konichiwa Anime Lovers out there, the great news seems to be unstoppable. Kimi ni Todoke Season 3 is all set to make its debut appearance in August on Netflix. The official website for TV anime announced the news by releasing its 1st promotional video, key visual, and additional cast for the season.

Staff and Cast

From the original adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Karuho Shinna, Kenichi Matsuzawa (Ef: A Tale of Memories, Fena: Pirate Princess) is directing the anime at Production I.G. Tomoko Konparu (Dear Brother, Dance with Devils) is returning as the scriptwriter for the 3rd Season. From the previous seasons, the musicians of the S.E.N.S project (My Love Story!!) are also returning to reprise their musical magic.

Kimi ni Todoke season 3 features Mamiko Noto (Samurai Bride) as Sawako Kuronuma and Daisuke Namikawa ( Black Clover) as Shota Kazehaya.

The premise of the anime revolves around Sawako and rumors about her in the school. Her classmates believe, she could see ghosts and cursed people. Slowly she becomes isolated in her world but one day everything changes when a popular boy named Kazehaya begins talking to her.

Shiina’s manga began its serialization in Shueisha’s Bessatsu Margaret from 2005 to 2017. Later Viz Media acquired the license for English Publication.

The first season of Kimi ni Todoke anime aired in Japan from October 2009 to March 2010 and the second season from January to March 2011.

Netflix is currently streaming seasons 1 and 2 in English dub also the 3rd season will air worldwide in August on Netflix.
