“My Hero Academia The Movie: You’re Next” seizes an Aug 2 Release Date.

Exciting news for anime-enthusiastic fans of My Hero Academia. Toho Animation released a teaser trailer of one-minute length on 30th Jan 2024 to announce the name of their upcoming movie after seven seasons “My Hero Academia: You’re Next”. With the crisp animated short trailer, the movie will dive further into a mystique figure who claims to be The Almight.

The Blurb

After airing six seasons My Hero Academia will air its seventh season on May 24th this year. This fourth movie will explore an original story before the final fight between the hero Deku and the villain. The All Might or “symbol of peace” has retired after winning a devastating fight. In a devastated society in the aftermath of war Deku and his friends witness a giant fortress along with a mystique figure who awakens the memories of The Almight.

Team Behind it

Tensai Okamura (episode director for Neon Genesis Evangelion and Cowboy Bebop storyboards) will provide the direction for the movie. With Yoshihiko Umakoshi’s character designs, Yuki Hayashi will compose the music for their upcoming My Hero Academia: The movie.
