The Cafe Terrace and Its Goddesses Anime season 2 returns in July.

All the enthusiast of romance-comedy anime, I have some great news under my sleeves. The Cafe Terrace and Its Goddesses Anime Season 2 returns in July. The creator revealed the news with a teaser trailer and PV teaser on Wednesday on MBS’s YouTube channel. The Anime will be broadcast on MBS and TBS of JNN. Crunchyroll also licensed the TV anime for broadcasting out of Asia Region.

The second season brings back the magical team of the first season. The Anime is an Adaptation of Koji Seo’s manga of the same name. Satoshi Kuwabara ( Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of the Dimensions) will direct the second season with Tezuka Productions as Animation producer. Keeichiro Ochi (The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten) is the scriptwriter and Masatsune Noguchi (My Home Hero) is the character designer. Shu Kanematsu (The Kingdoms of Ruin) and Miki Sakurai (The Demon Girl Next Door) will compose the music for the second series.

The Cafe Terrace and Its Goddesses focuses on the life of Hayato Kasukabe, who left for higher education at Tokyo University. Upon hearing the devastating news of his grandmother’s death, He rushes to his hometown to close the grandmother’s café. But he finds six girls working for the café. Thus the romance comedy anime fires up.

The Manga started serialization in Kodansha’s weekly shonen Magazine in February 2021. Kodansha USA announced the English digital version released in September 2022. As of 2023, The Manga sold 1 million copies in total.
