She reveals her undying desire for cosplay and the chemistry between the two builds as they work on many cosplaying dresses.

The art and music complement pretty well too.

Remember while watching this show, the animation might not match today’s standards. But it is a gem romance anime with a dual pov.

The story of two high schoolers Mitsuha from Itomori and Taki from Tokyo path collide mysteriously.

Each day Mitsuha dreams of herself in Taki’s body as a boy waking up in Tokyo. Meanwhile, Taki dreams the same waking in Itomori. Soon they realize they switched places frequently with each other.

The epic tale envisions the connection from both the characters switching in between Tokyo and Itomori. Oh boy! This movie was the one that made me fall in love with the animation world.

Makoto Shinkai’s visual art and storytelling combined with music make it an all-time masterpiece.
