Train To the End of the World Anime debuts on April 1, reveals cast and ending theme.

Here is your daily dose of Anime news. The original anime film Train to the End of the World is all set to premiere on AT-X on April 1, 2024. The official website revealed the first three episodes will be screened in Tokyo. Kadokawa released the third promotional video for the anime and the official website revealed the cast, staff, and the opening and ending theme.

Staff and Cast

Since the TV Anime is an original production of Kadokawa, Tsutomu Mizushima (Prison School) is directing the anime at EMT Squared Animation Studios. Michiko Yokote (Cowboy Bebop) is overlooking the scripts. While Asako Nishida (Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny) is handling the character designs and the role of chief animation director. Miho Tsujibayashi (Demon Girl Next Door) is composing the music for the series. Rokudenashi is performing the ending theme song “Eureka” and Rei Nakashima is performing the opening theme song “GA-TAN GO-TON”

Train to the End of the World anime follows the strange life of villagers in the countryside. Even after the phenomenon, strong-willed Shizuru Chikara wants to find her missing friend and meet her. So she and three of her friends set out on an abandoned train called Doomsday.

Torimura’s manga adaptation will start serialization on Kadokawa Shoten’s Kadocomi manga website on March 25, 2024. Crunchyroll has also acquired the license to stream the anime.
