Trapezium Anime aims for a May 10 theatrical release in Japan.

Another anime news banging at your doorstep. Flag Pictures’ Trapezium Anime is all set to release in Japan theatres on May 10. The official website for the anime revealed the main trailer along with additional staff and cast. The website also revealed the film’s theme song titled “Nanmonai”.

Staff and Cast

Trapezium Anime movie is adapted from Kazumi Takayama’s novel. Masahiro Shinohara (Angels of Death) is directing the movie at Cloverworks studio while Koji Masunari (Blue Period) is supervising the film. Yuuko Kakihara (Buddy Daddies) is overseeing the scripts and Rio is designing the characters. Masaru Yokoyama (Horimiya) is composing the music while Aniplex owns the distribution rights.

The movie features Asaki Yuikawa (Oshi No Ko) as Yu Higashi and HIna Yomiya (Golden Kamuy) as Kurumi Taiga.

Trapezium 1

Trapezium Anime follows the ambitious life of 10-year-old Yu Higashi whose goal is to be an Idol. To achieve that goal he must ensure four goals No Social media, No boyfriends, No Standouts in School, and only make friends with beautiful girls.

Kazumi’s novel was initially serialized in Kadokawa Shoten’s Da Vinci book and Manga magazine from April 2016 to August 2018.
