Howdy! Anime Lovers of India, an exciting News for you. Netflix decided to stream Studio Colorido’s fourth feature film My Oni Girl and Garouden: The Way of the Lone Wolf on May 24 & 23 respectively on their platform. Indian fans now can enjoy the anime as it airs worldwide, no need to wait for it to be released separately in India.
Netflix describes My Oni Girl :
The youth fantasy tale focuses on Hiiragi, a high school student, who can never deny any request to be more likable in school. One day he encounters a girl named Tsumugi who came from the Oni world to find her mother. After failing to deny her request, the two set on the journey while being opposites.
The featured film is the result of the collaboration between Netflix and studio Colorido. Tomotaka Shibayama (Silver Spoon) will direct the film also assisting in the script writing with Yuko Kakihara (Buddy Daddies). Masafuki Yokota ( A Whisker Away) will handle the character designs while Sunao Chikaoka (Drifting Home) will assist him. Mina Kubota (A Whisker Away) will compose the music for the film.

My Oni Girl movie stars Kensho Ono (Bungo Stray Dogs) as Hiiragi Yatsuse and Miyu Tomita (Kabuya-sama: Love is War) as Tsumugi.
Garouden Anime follows Juzo Fujimaki who is running from his past crimes but is thrown into a match between elite group members. He must survive in the fight against these top martial artists.
Adapted from Baku Yumemakura’s novel that inspired Jiro Taniguchi’s manga. Atsushi Ikariya (Sakura Internet Re-birth) is directing the anime while Daisuke Mataga (Samurai Champloo) is assisting as the assistant director at NAZ. Sadayuki Murai (Cowboy Bebop, Perfect Blue) is overlooking the script along with Momoko Kawai (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion) and Ikariya as the character designers. Atsushi and Momoka will share the role of chief animation directors. Takeshi Ueda (Baki ONA) shoulders the music responsibility as he performs both the opening song “Fight and Pride” and the ending theme song “Cry Boy”
